Maryland Primary Election is soon and this Year Early Voting Starts
This is a reminder to everyone that the Maryland Primary Election is Tuesday September 14, 2010 . This year, for the first time, Maryland will have early voting to allow as many people as possible to cast their votes. Early Voting starts Friday September 3, 2010 through Thursday, September 9, 2010, except for Sunday, September 5th when early voting centers are closed. The nearest early voting center for District 20 residents is the new Silver Spring Civic Building, 8525 Fenton Street Silver Spring, MD 20910.

Delegate Hixson has been endorsed by NOW
The Montgomery County Chapter of the National Organization of Women has endorsed Sheila Hixson as a candidate for Delegate to the Maryland General Assembly, District 20. In a letter to Delegate Hixson, NOW writes "MCNOWPAC thanks you for your commitment to promoting women’s equality and furthering women's interests and concerns. We hope your campaign enjoys success."
